The Stew House was a number of pop-up dining events across multiple venues between 2011 and 2012.The concept was to produce good quality, affordable food to warm those winter nights, in a backdrop of quintessential English Country home, with Edwardian twists. Accompanied by musical performances from the likes of Double Base Dan, we had a big emphasis on communal dining to encourage new friendships and fun. Venues ranged from private stable homes, to east London gallery spaces and railway arches.
The Stew House finally found a more permanent home named The Dead Dolls House in 2012, taking its decorative style with it.
